The story behind this car is, I bought it from the original owner approx. three months ago for my wife. My wife did not like the car because she was use to a small car. The original owner bought the car and stored it in a climate controlled garage only to drive on occasion for the 22 years he owned it. The car run and drives like new with beautiful paint and interior. I had a local company install Eibach sport 2" lowering springs and sway bars and new Monroe shocks. I also had all the windows professionally tinted including a light tint on the windshield. I also had my mechanic go thru the car and change out the brake pads, belts, hoses, fluids, belt tensioner, trans filter and fluid only to be sure all the old products are removed and freshened up for daily driving. The car has all the original paperwork from day 1 including receipts from my latest work installed, owners manuals, window stickers and SLP window sticker. This car is almost perfect except for a few small items; wear on the drivers side seat, small paint chip at the fender/hood gap(See pictures), and the key fob sometimes won't work. The original SS floor mats, key chains and I.D. tag have never been used. BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SHIPPING.

Posting my 1996 Camaro SS. The car is all original right down to the skip shift and the radio. It has been kept in very nice condition over the years and has always been adult owned. There were 2410 Camaro SS's built in 1996, which is the lowest number of Super Sports built for any year and it it was the first time the SS package was offered as a factory option since 1972. There are not many all original 1996 Camaro SS's out there any more. If you find one it wouldn't be easy to find a 6 speed that is in as nice shape as this one. Most of the ones that you will find are either modified or haven't been taken care of. This car has been well taken care of over the years. I have performed all the regular maintenance on it and it starts right up every time. As far as factory options, it has T-tops, leather interior, power windows, power locks, delay wipers, cruise control and as part of the SLP package it has the Hurst short throw shifter and the SS floor mats. It has the LT1 engine with the SLP intakeThis car isn't perfect, but it is in excellent shape. I only see it going up in value over the years as they are becoming more rare over time. The rims that are on the car in the pictures are not part of the sale. The car will be sold with the original SS rims which are in good shape. 2 of the tires are almost brand new. The replica American racing torque thrust rims that are on the car can be included with the car for an additional cost and are open for negotiation. The last picture is a picture of another car with the rims that will be included in the sale. The only known issue with the car is the A/C compressor which is believed to be bad. It seized up at the end of last summer and I haven't gotten around to replacing it. Other than that the car is good to go. When this car was about 4 months old, back in 1997 there was some type of issue that will show up on a Carfax. That was over 20 years ago, so it wasn't an issue for me, but I just wanted to give everyone a full disclosure. Whatever the issue was it was corrected a long time ago. Please do not bid if this is an issue for you. I don't have to sell this car, just looking for something different.
